Crosley and similar suitcase or retro styled record players

Image
Increasingly, I am receiving messages about faults on records, which are quite clearly a problem with these record players. Here are examples: The squeaking here is starting before the record is even playing! The problem here is that the spindle area needs lubricating. allforturntables.com have great information about this: https://allforturntables.com/2023/07/10/how-to-lubricate-a-record-player-3/ Records - particularly 7" 45 R.P.M. - stopping before the song ends is due to the auto stop mechanism being out of specification. The solution is to adjust the record player to fix this problem (best left to a qualified person), or turn the auto stop switch on the turntable to 'off'(see photo below - the switch is in the red circled area).

It is very easy to miss the "Learn More About This Item" link on the product page. Here it is, arrowed and circled in red on the image below: Click on the area to expand the product description. The "Select An Option" bar is no use until you at least know what the options mean! After learning more about this item, the options should be clear. Label information

The images sent for the labels will be printed with a small loss on the edges. The example image above has a red circle near the edge to demonstrate the 'safety zone'. The small area on the outside will be lost when printed. Any text printed on the image should therefore not be printed exactly at the outside of the label image (see area highlighted by yellow arrows). Please leave a space from the edge for important information. Label templates for printed labels are sent after purchase by email, or may be downloaded from the link below: https://app.box.com/s/2menerqmjdzz26mkbeek27g44s6kjd5m I can help to fit the template for your labels if you are unable to do this. Send your completed label designs for side A/1 and B/2 and I will email you the finished label before printing. Please remember that I don't do label designs apart from template fitting. I'm sorry to have to keep repeating this but I keep being asked! Back to the main page: ...

Etsy now monitor dispatch times and customers need to have everything ready for me to complete the order within the stated working day/dispatch time frame. This isn't my rule, but order cancellation will regrettably have to be made to ensure compliance with their system should the project exceeds their enforced time limit.
