Navigating and understanding the Etsy Listing and options:

It is very easy to miss the "Learn More About This Item" link on the product page. Here it is, arrowed and circled in red on the image below:

Click on the area to expand the product description. This explains the options - varying playing times, printed sleeve and label options, etc. Pretty much all you need to know. This blog also explains most of this.

The "Select An Option" bar is no use until you at least know what the options mean! After learning more about this item, the options should be clear. Here is the option bar (arrowed and circled):

Options explained:

Plain -XX minutes

Plain = blank card outer record cover and blank labels. This means that you do not require a printed record sleeve or labels. They will be blank. Absolutely no writing or artwork will be printed by MoonVinyl on this option.

XX minutesThe minutes purchased by you must match your playlist length e.g. your music has a total playing time of 42 minutes 12 seconds, you should select "Plain - 42 minutes".

Print label - XX minutes

Print label = blank card outer record cover with printed record centre labels only. Completed images will need to be submitted by you for printing two labels. I can fit your label designs to label templates for printing. I do not offer a graphic design service, therefore I will not be able to help with any design work.

XX minutes The minutes purchased by you must match your playlist length e.g. your music has a total playing time of 46 minutes 37 seconds, you should select "Print Label - 46 minutes".

Label&Cover - XX minutes

Label & Cover = printed (front and back) card outer record cover with printed record centre labels. Completed images will need to be submitted by you for printing the two record labels and additionally the front and rear cover designs. I can fit your label designs to label templates for printing. I do not offer a graphic design service, therefore I will not be able to help with any design work for labels and/or record covers.

XX minutesThe minutes purchased by you must match your playlist length e.g. your music has a total playing time of 39 minutes 08 seconds, you should select "Label&Cover - 38 minutes".

Help with cover, label and music requirements for your record.

Music: 1. You can send your music files in two ways: i) Send your files via email or file transfer service. Popular file transfer services include transfernow.net, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox etc. Most popular sound file formats are fine to send. The most common files types are WAV, FLAC, m4a and mp3. True WAV and FLAC files should be the best quality and will make a better sounding record. mp3 is used a lot in orders, and can be OK sounding at the higher bitrates (320kps). I cannot use Apple Music files or playlists . The files won't play due to copyright protection, even though you own them! ii) If you aren't able to send your music as files (not everybody has the tech to do this) you may send a playlist link of your chosen songs from your music provider, e.g. Spotify. You may choose the playing times from the options on the 12" vinyl LP listings to suit the playing time of your songs: Playing Time Options : 10" record: 26 minutes = 26-27 minutes max. 28 minutes = 28-29 minutes max. 30 minutes = 30-31 minutes max. 12" record: 28 minutes = 28-29 minutes max. 30 minutes = 30-31 minutes max. 32 minutes = 32-33 minutes max. 34 minutes = 34-35 minutes max. 36 minutes = 36-37 minutes max. 38 minutes = 38-39 minutes max. 40 minutes = 40-41 minutes max. 42 minutes = 42-43 minutes max. 44 minutes = 44-45 minutes max. 46 minutes = 46-47 minutes max. 48 minutes = 48-49 minutes max. 50 minutes = 50-51 minutes max. 52 minutes = 52-53 minutes max. 54 minutes = 54-55 minutes max.
