Label information

Image
The images sent for the labels will be printed with a small loss on the edges. The example image above has a red circle near the edge to demonstrate the 'safety zone'. The small area on the outside will be lost when printed. Any text printed on the image should therefore not be printed exactly at the outside of the label image (see area highlighted by yellow arrows). Please leave a space from the edge for important information. Label templates for printed labels are sent after purchase by email, or may be downloaded from the link below: https://app.box.com/s/2menerqmjdzz26mkbeek27g44s6kjd5m I can help to fit the template for your labels if you are unable to do this. Send your completed label designs for side A/1 and B/2 and I will email you the finished label before printing. Please remember that I don't do label designs apart from template fitting. I'm sorry to have to keep repeating this but I keep being asked! Back to the main page: ...

Frequently Asked Questions

𝑭𝑹𝑬𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑡𝑻𝑳𝒀 𝑨𝑺𝑲𝑬𝑫 𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑢𝑡𝑺: Q: How long does it take to manufacture my record? A: Order processing times are 5-7 working days. Please ensure all required items for your order are ready to send (e.g. music choices and song order, artwork for 2 labels and sleeve). If I have everything required, I can work on your order faster and get it dispatched in this time period (or earlier!). Etsy now monitor dispatch times and customers need to have everything ready for me to complete the order within the stated working day/dispatch time frame. This isn't my rule, but order cancellation will regrettably have to be made to ensure compliance with their system should the project exceeds their enforced time limit. Q: What are the music file formats you accept for producing vinyl? A: Digital formats include .WAV. mp3 .FLAC, Just about any digital format I can work with. Playlist links (Youtube,Spotify, etc) are fine. ( Apple users must note that due to th...

Optional cover spine text

Image
An optional spine design can be used, and may be sent along with your cover design. The spine is the 3mm non-opening edge on your record sleeve. If spine is to be left blank, or if you just want a solid colour, then you may request this when sending your cover and label instructions. This really is the spine area nothing more or les than this size will work! Etsy Processing Times

Image
Etsy now insist on strict processing and delivery times, and failure to comply will ensure the seller is punished. The seller loses points under the Etsy star system. What this now means in reality is I am having to request that buyers have all items required to create their record ready or nearly ready at the time of purchase. In other words, all designs for the cover, labels and the music choices must be sent within the time stated on the listing page at time of purchase (see example above) . Unfortunately, orders will be cancelled on the final day if everything hasn't been received. This is solely to avoid MoonVinyl being punished. The listing page does explain what is required for an order, and this blog will attempt to help further. ======================================================= Look for the estimated arrival information area on the Etsy listing. An example for UK customers is below. "Order Placed" is the date you purchased the record. ...
